Very interesting projects

Jonathan Harris, a guy from Princeton University, has been doing very intersting projects. I just found his works today.
He and his peers applied computer/internet technology with Arts to explore human's emotions, desires, and those kinds of psychological issues. Very nice examples of combination of Art/Techonology/Humanity. His latest project is Time Capsule launched on Yahoo's website.

現代人的疏離與焦慮

Recently I'm doing a lot of reading due to the classes' required materials, but coincindentally they have some interesting topics overlapped with each other, which are the modern people's anxiety and alienation. Here are some interpretations when scholars tried to analyze the root of this common experience in our daily life:
From the hostorical point of view:
1. The effect of Post-War disillusionment and postmodern mentalities
2. The effect of Rationalism and The Industry Revolution

Blade Runner閱讀隨感

我在寫Sci-Fi 課的期末報告，選了心愛的科幻電影（也是影史科幻電影之首喔）∼Blade Runner來作research paper的主題，隨手把一些心得記下來:
A hero of a noir story discovers the depth and complexity of the corruption in his society as a result of his detective's quest. The only rewards of the quest is his own survival, usually somewhat damaged, the knowledge of evil. (我知道文法一點都不通>_<)
人類的天真與理想，能帶我們走多遠？或是最多能做到多好？
